"Autism
Awareness Ribbon"
This is the "Autism
Awareness Ribbon." The puzzle pattern reflects the mystery and complexity
of autism and Asperger's Syndrome, a milder form of the condition. The
different colors and shapes represent the diversity of the people and
families living with this neurobiological condition. The brightness of the
ribbon signals hope--hope that through research we will soon identify the
causes and effective ways for training, educating and offering meaningful
support for children and adults. The heart in the middle symbolizes our
love for those with autism.
By wearing this ribbon, we hope you can bring others an increased
understanding of autism. With greater social awareness of autism, persons
"with" can lead fuller, more complete lives.
How "you" can Help
Support Autism Awareness.

editorial's and commentaries for your local, State and National media. |
 |
Write your Legislator's to
ask them to sponsor autism legislation. |
